Masterclass

In this masterclass, you will learn what a good guitar setup is, how to check it using simple tools, and how to achieve it yourself.
We will begin with a theoretical section, and you will also receive a reference guide to take home. This guide explains the basics, how the different components of the guitar interact, and standard setup specifications. It also explains how you can measure these values yourself.

Next, you will work on your own guitar, comparing theory with practice. By working in a small group of just three people, there will be plenty of room for individual guidance. This small group setting also allows us to discuss a variety of instruments and leaves ample time for all your questions.

This masterclass is perfect for:

• people who own multiple guitars
• people who travel frequently with their instrument
• people who want more confidence and guidance when purchasing a (used) guitar
• anyone who wants to have a better understanding of how their instrument works

Included

• reference guide
• feeler gauge set (essential measuring tool)

To bring yourself:

• one guitar or bass guitar
• capo is usefull but not necessary
• a fresh set of strings (strings can also be purchased in the workshop)
