After discussing all the requirements for this guitars, the final request came from the customer: can you install led lights in the neck? After some testing, it seemed to be possible to sand down a standard led light and glue it under a pearl dot. This would give a nice diffused light, but als bright enough. The wiring is carefully fit between the guitar neck and the fretboard. In the neck pocket, two big brass contact points are made, so the wires of the neck are clamped tight on it when the neck is screwed in the body. The last tone control on the guitar is actually an on-off switch for the lights.
