The point was to make a simple lap steel guitar with no consession to the tone of the instrument.
The body made from khaya mahogany gives a light weight and a sweet tone. The wood is a very well replacement for the heavier mahogany variations.
Tha aluminum bridge and topnut give the Junior lap steel a great sustain. The Grover tuners keep well even with higher tension tunings. The DiMarzio P90 provides a warm and dynamic tone.
The lap steel is fitted with a nice rosewood binding and logo.
The Junior Slide lap steel guitar is only available as a 6-string instrument.
