At both videos Mitja Novak from Slovenia performes live with his new band Blue Papas.
His Weissenborn style 2 and his one-of-a-kind Classic Thinline Padouk can both be seen and heard here!

Due to circumstances the workshop is closed between 5th and 25th of March.
From March 27th we are open again from thuesdayf to Friday.
Email send between 5th and 25th of March will be answered as much as possible in the weekends.

Shubb Pearse goes stainless steel!
Shubb Pearse uses now solid stainless steel for the manufacturing of the populair SP serie slide bars.
At the website Rick tells us why the company changed from brass to stainless steel:
Resists nicks and scratches far better than a plated bar.
And if it ever should get a nick or scratch, it can be buffed out, unlike a plated bar.
No plating to wear off.
Any plated bar will wear down, and people end up replacing them. A stainless bar will remain as good as new indefinitely outlasting a drawer full of worn out plated bars.
An incredible value at its price.
Solid stainless steel bars typically cost double the price of the SP or RR steel.
It is a change we have long been considering. It is a significant product upgrade, plus it makes sense on other levels. Quality control problems have increased over the years, as plating shops must comply with higher standards in their use of chemicals and disposal of waste. No one wants to come down on the wrong side of an environmental issue, and while stainless steel might not leap to mind as a stereotypical green solution, in this case it is. By moving away from plating on this product, we are endeavoring to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem.

Classic Slide
A very special Classic can now be found on the website.
This Classic has a LP style inlay in the fretboard, a lefthanded neck a la Jimi, and a beautiful tigerstriped ash top. The guitar is specialy setup to be played with a bottleneck. Because of the double action truss rod, the guitar can also be setup for normal playing.

Resonator guitar.
Soon to be found at the website our new resonator guitars.
Until then we would like to show you this custom build square neck resonator with Beard hardware, made of solid mahogany.
The resonator has a bit milder vintage character compared to the loud sound of many modern multiplex resonators.
